What does your business
do?
I teach other businesses how to successfully differentiate their product/service
in order to stand out from competitors and become an attractive buying
option.
What do you love most about running your
own business?
Being able to express my creativity without any restrictions and having
complete control over which direction the business is heading in the
future.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Learning to balance my business with other areas of my life such as health
and my social life.
If you were given $100,000 to put towards
your business, how would you use it?
I would join every business organisation/association in Sydney to evaluate
which ones are the most effective for networking and for gaining new
clients. I would also attend regular seminars/workshops in order to keep
up to date with the latest developments in marketing and in business.
Do you have small business tip?
Don't just focus on gaining as many new customers/clients as possible.
Instead focus on gaining as many new "quality" customers/clients
as possible. They tend to be more long term and offer a business a
better return on investment.
How many hours do you work a day?
Minimum 12 hours per day but who is counting.
What is your favourite part of the job?
Interacting with clients and discussing creative ways to market their
businesses.
Do you pay yourself first or last?
At the moment I pay myself last.
How has your life changed since
you started your own business?
I have gained much more satisfaction from my working life. It has opened
up a new array of opportunities which I would never have had if I were
working for someone else and I am constantly meeting new people from
all walks of life which is always stimulating.
